Think Visual is a global community dedicated to the practice of visual thinking. Founded by Shapeshifters co-founders Diana and Alan, we host meetup events in cities worldwide to spread awareness of visual thinking as a powerful tool for reflection, collaboration, innovation, and leadership.

I’m a multilingual performer and clown originally from Switzerland, and I often attend the Think Visual Meet Ups because I love learning outside of my own field. It’s inspiring to cross-apply the principles of visual design to my creative practice and integrate them into the way I tell stories through my body. Additionally, many of the topics discussed, such as mental health, leadership, the art of storytelling, are global topics and relevant across sectors, and they help me connect with creatives from diverse backgrounds and develop new ideas together.

About Us
Think Visual began as a series of small meetups in the Shapeshifters Sydney office, founded by Alan and Diana. Through their professional experiences, they recognised the immense power of visual thinking across various contexts - from business to personal development, problem-solving to making ideas tangible and marketable, engaging others, and creating shared spaces for understanding.
As visual practitioners themselves, Alan and Diana wanted to create a space that allows others to discover how they can leverage visual thinking in their own practice, regardless of their industry. What started as an intimate gathering in the Shapeshifters office in Sydney in 2024 has blossomed into an active and passionate community of visual thinkers.
