Hello, We're Alan and Diana.

We are long-time friends who have been drawing to help teams and businesses communicate for over a decade. We founded Sh8peshifters, a Sydney-based Visual Communication Agency, where we create visuals of all kinds, from illustrated strategy to explainer videos, book design and live graphic recording.

We both love teaching and have been educators for many years, so Sketch Lab is the product of our desire to share the pearls of wisdom we’ve learned on our visual communication journey and the skills we developed along the way. We believe that most people are visual thinkers and drawing is an essential and learnable skill that can help us think. We want to help people unlock this superpower and start using it to declutter their minds and communicate more effectively.
